He ended the season sixth overall in points, in which he finished second in 5 of the 17 Main Events. In July, Josh spent time preparing for the ‘Speed and Style’ event for X Games 16. His practice session went from ‘landing a backflip on his first attempt’ to ‘under rotating the next time around.’ This horrific crash sent Josh to the hospital with a list of injuries and a whole new respect for the sport of Freestyle Motocross. I caught up with Josh, at Pala Raceway for the DC Moto TF Ride day, where he talked about his rehabilitation, his plans for Supercross 2011, and more!

Josh Hill at the DC Moto TF Ride Day

Josh: Yeah I am getting better, everything is starting to heal up and I am getting to where I can function normally again. So it is getting better, but I need to focus on getting my body stronger. That is my main thing right now.

The launch of Ducati's 2012 season got properly underway this morning, when Valentino Rossi and Nicky Hayden faced questions from the press at Madonna di Campiglio, the Italian ski resort that hosts Ducati's Wrooom event. After a disastrous 2011, much of the focus of questioning was on the new Ducati GP12, the bike missing from the festivities at Wrooom, but to make its first public appearance at the Sepang test. The delay, according to various reports, is more to do with finalizing the livery, with details still to be hammered out with sponsors.

It is the first time in his career in motor racing track that has been engaged since 16 years ago “The Doctor” was successfully leads a team based in Bologna on the podium first.
“Sometimes I regret it, but once I started to think more deeply, it is something I should try it. So, for that I’m not mistaken. The attraction was a big challenge and I still feel like it,” commented 32-year rider in an interview with MCN .
He said it is better to try and have some problems than not try at all and wonder for the rest of his life. “I was racing and I make all the choices in a career like this. To be sure, more fun because of it,” he said.
Highest achievement during the 2011 season is finished third at Le Mans, France is the third series. The rest, the man from Urbino, Italy finished fourth at Assen, the Netherlands and three times finished fifth and sixth twice.
When Rossi decides to stop from Yamaha, Ducati really hope this seven-time world champion could repeat his performance as the Yamaha to ride the Desmosedici GP 11 are known to be very fussy. Although, through the hard struggle he has yet managed to win the race.
But, he sure can still compete in the front row. In fact, ever start from the position-11 alone, he was finally able to finish first. Although, in the 2012 season as the season premiere with a 1,000 cc engine, Rossi believes is still the toughest year for him. But that would galvanize him and Ducati to help him compete.
“For me, the season like this help me become stronger. Only, I am very sad has been disappointing all my fans. But, the story is not finished,” he added. He promised to gush Ducati could be more with the Yamaha and Honda.

As a former supercross and motocross racer, I don’t think the season is too long. Racers want to race.
But I would like to see a couple of changes that I think will make it better for the riders, teams, and most importantly, the fans.
First, I’d like to see a much longer break in between the end of the Supercross season, and the start of the MX season.
I think it would be great if the riders could have at least a couple off weekends off after the supercross season ends. One of the reasons is they could do more ‘outdoor’ testing at that time, instead of during supercross season.

read moreEven though Romain Jerome tend to be by far the most innovative jewelry watches today, there are many more options. Why is it that most people wear watches on their wrists? You can carry your watch any way you want to! Some people use the clocks their phones have. Others like pocket watches best. Still others prefer jewelry watches-watches that you wear as jewelry pieces. This helps the watch fit into the overall outfit ensemble. Doing this helps you get set apart from all the rest of the people who wear watches on their wrists. So where does one get jewelry watches? Here are some of the places that you can buy jewelry watches.
Jewelry stores are a good place to buy them if you don’t mind spending some more money. These watches are going to be more expensive. This is usually for a few different reasons. The biggest reason that watches purchased at jewelry stores are usually made out of better materials than those purchased elsewhere. They are usually made as a limited item-not mass produced in a factory. This helps account for the price. Of course, if you don’t mind spending more money, buying a watch from a jeweler or jewelry store can be a fantastic way to have an one of a kind accessory. Jewelry watches are most commonly found in department stores. Department stores usually have jewelry and accessory counters in them. Look for watches here. You will usually find the usual wrist watches as well as watches that you can double as jewelry. The nice thing about shopping for this particular piece in a department store is the price. It is far more cost effective to purchase your jewelry watch in a department store than it is to buy it from someone who is known for creating totally unique stuff like an independent artist or jeweler. It’s true that you could end up with the same kind of jewelry watch that your friend has or that your coworker likes to wear but you won’t pay even half as much for it and that means that your bank account balance won’t shrink as much either!
Independent artists’ websites are also wonderful places to purchase jewelry watches but if you want to find the best deal, you will need to spend some time doing your research so that you can find a good seller! Look up every seller before sending your money to them. Never send your money to someone online without first making sure that he is running a real and legitimate business. A service like PayPal is a must because they will protect your money if someone tries to take money from you without sending you the watch you want. When you take steps to protect you against thefts and scams, buying jewelry watches directly from their designers is a fantastic way to get the watches that you want.
Finding the jewelry watches you want for the price you need doesn’t have to be hard. You just need to approach it with the right mindset. Like with most things, the brainier you are about the approach, the easier a time you will have. Don’t forget, jewelry watches are just as unique as those who wear them. There aren’t any rules that say you have to wear the same watch everyone else wears. You don’t have to spend lots of money to have beautiful jewelry! Enough with the window shopping, lets relax with some free arcade games!

This unfortunate crash would sideline Ryan for a few rounds, but he would eventually return to racing action in Seattle and finish the season 10th overall points. When the AMA Motocross Nationals came into around, Ryan was ready to get back to racing, but going into the second round he was once again out with an injury. Ryan has been busy the past few months, but is back and ready to set some new goals for the upcoming 2011 series. I spoke with Ryan about what he learned over the past year and his prospects for the new season.

Angela: Well Ryan, here we are just a few short weeks until the first Supercross race of the season; let’s talk about sponsors and the bike?
Ryan: Yeah, DC Shoes stepped up recently and is sponsoring the entire Rockstar Energy Suzuki Team, so I am really excited to be a part of it. I have only been with this sponsor for a few days now and they’re really taken care of the team. I’m with the same team as last year, Rockstar Energy Suzuki, with the same mechanic (Rene Zapata), and the same team manager, and owner, everything is pretty much the same, but Suzuki really is stepping up this year. Last year we were on a 2009 carburetor bike, so we were kind of behind the ball, but this year we are on the new 2011 fuel injected, the whole new chassis and everything, and Suzuki has really helped us out with factory support. Our bikes are pretty much in house bikes, running Shoei Suspension, so everything is looking great. Everyone has been doing a great job and the people at Yoshimura have been doing a lot of testing and getting our bikes dialed in, so I’m excited for Anaheim 1. Our bike should be one of the best ones out there, making things really competitive, and that is very cool.
