What's the difference between Pro 2 and Pro 4? Pro 2 is two wheel drive. Pro 4 is four wheel drive.
With Pro 4 you can drive more aggressively – you can get on the gas more, because you have much more traction with all four wheels.

The FIM today issued provisional entry lists for both the World Superbike and World Supersport classes for 2012, and once again, both classes look relatively healthy. The WSBK grid has grown from 22 to 24 – perhaps a side effect of the introduction of the single-bike rule in the World Superbike class – while WSS sees 32 riders take to the grid again, similar numbers to last year.
The World Superbike class is broadly as expected, with one or two minor changes. Runner up in the 2011 WSS championship David Salom moves up to join champion Chaz Davies in World Superbikes, Salom joining the Pedercini Kawasaki squad alongsisde the Argentinian Leandro Mercado. Niccolo Canepa and Lorenzo Zanetti also join World Superbikes, while Raffaele de Rosa switches from a couple of relatively unsuccessful seasons in Moto2 to join the Pro Ride Honda team in WSBK.

When Steffi Laier, Red Bull Teka KTM factory rider and two-time Women's MX World Champion takes to the track in the pre-season MX races in Valence, France, this weekend it will be her first competitive ride for 2011. Steffi has been training hard on the bike since mid December and in Valence tests herself against a field of male riders.
At the French pre-season special, she faces off with a strong lineup of riders including those from the Nestaan JM Racing KTM squad led by Joel Roelants, Yentel Martens and young talents like 125 European champion Jordi Tixier of France and Austrian Pascal Rauchenecker. After completing their task in a press conference segment of the show titled Ducati and Ferrari Wrooom in Madonna di Campiglio, Italy MotoGP riders Valentino Rossi and Nicky Hayden rode in the snow.
Rossi and Hayden was deliberately rode to meet F1 driver Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa to participate in a go-kart race in the same event.
But Hayden, who is still in the healing phase of shoulder and rib injuries due to a motocross accident last December to be satisfied to be spectators.

The missing star of Ducati's Wrooom launch event is to make its debut behind closed doors tomorrow. Ducati test rider Franco Battaini and 2011 World Superbike champion Carlos Checa are to take the redesigned GP12 for its first shakedown test at the Jerez circuit in southern Spain tomorrow, under the watchful gaze of team boss Vitto Guareschi. Once the test has been concluded, the new Desmosedicis – freshly assembled by Ducati's team at their Bologna factory last week – will be shipped to Malaysia for the first official MotoGP tests to be held at Sepang, where factory riders Nicky Hayden and Valentino Rossi will get their first ride on the bike.

Last Saturday in Phoenix, Arizona, the second round of 2012 Monster Energy Supercross invaded Chase Field. Round one winner Ryan Villopoto came into the weekend brimming with confidence and carried that into qualifying, as he came away with the fastest 450 lap time. But when it came time for racing, luck was not on the Monster Energy Kawasaki rider?s side. Crashes in both his heat and the main event made for a trying evening.
Instead, the good luck rested well within the orange camp, as Red Bull/KTM’s Ryan Dungey captured his first win of the season. The victory also marks the Austrian manufacturer’s first ever win in the premier class. And the good fortune did not stop there.
In Supercross Lites, while reigning 250 Class AMA Pro Motocross Champion, Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki’s Dean Wilson, stomped off with his first win of the year, Dungey?s teammate, Marvin Musquin, came away with a second place finish. His best ever in his ‘young’ AMA Supercross career (although a two time World MX Champion). Wilson?s teammate, Tyla Rattray, had another impressive outing in Phoenix and finished with his second podium in two weeks with a third place finish. Add in the rest of the top three finishers of the Supercross Class, with Monster Energy Kawasaki?s Jake Weimer and Villopoto, and the entire podium was awash in orange and green.
But Villopoto?s result did not come easy. The defending champ got tangled up on the first lap in the treacherous sand section, and fell to dead last before the first lap was completed. But he got right back up and went on a tear, blazing the fastest lap time of the race along the way.

Is the combined supercross / motocross season of today’s era too long?
As a former supercross and motocross racer, I don’t think the season is too long. Racers want to race.
But I would like to see a couple of changes that I think will make it better for the riders, teams, and most importantly, the fans.
First, I’d like to see a much longer break in between the end of the Supercross season, and the start of the MX season.
I think it would be great if the riders could have at least a couple off weekends off after the supercross season ends. One of the reasons is they could do more ‘outdoor’ testing at that time, instead of during supercross season.
